Travellers in the North West will have the opportunity to talk face-to-face with many of the leading travel companies and take advantage of some exclusive offers. A range of exhibitors who cover ever holiday imaginable will be taking part including Audley Travel, Cox & Kings, Explore Worldwide and Trailfinders. In addition, there will be specialist exhibitors and charities focussing on Responsible Travel.
Visitors to the Shows will also get an insight into culture from around the world with the interesting and interactive features showcasing food, drink, dance, music, and arts & crafts. Be inspired by the Wanderlust Travel Photo of the Year Competition Gallery, where you can admire the shortlisted photos. Also, the ever-popular Meet the Experts Theatres will be an added bonus where travel personalities, celebrities and travel experts will share their fascinating stories and expert advice to give people the inspiration they need to plan that perfect holiday.
Among the celebrities attending will be Marine Biologist and TV Presenter Monty Halls, TV Presenter & New York Times Bestselling Author Simon Reeve (see left), Explorer Colonel John Blashford-Snell OBE; broadcaster & journalist Kate Humble and BBC Foreign Correspondent Sue Lloyd Roberts.
Our official Show charity, Stuff your Rucksack ( is a UK based charitable website conceptualised by broadcaster and journalist Kate Humble. It helps responsible travellers to make a practical difference to the lives of under-privileged people in developing countries and there will be a feature wall where you can find out what small things you can take on your 2012 travels to do your part.

Getting There: By Car: EventCity is located directly off the M60 at Junctions 9 & 10. There are 3000 free on-site EventCity car-parking spaces plus additional FREE parking around the Trafford Centre and a coach-park for over 60 vehicles.
