Homeopathy

Homeopathy uses natural remedies made from a variety of sources -animal, mineral and plant – which stimulate the body’s own headling powers. It is one of the most popular alternative therapies. The theory is that the remedy acts like a vaccine. It is used to treat allergies, eczema, asthma, irritable bowel syndrome and insomnia. Homeopathy can be available within the NHS as some GPs are also homeopaths. The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital is still part of the NHS and patients can be referred there by GPs.
