The resort is set in 50 acres which drop down to a beautiful pink sand beach on the south coast. The main building with bedrooms, restaurants and the bar is 90 years old and surrounded by pastel-coloured colonial style cottages around the grounds.

The main restaurant, The Seahorse Grill, serves fresh local fish such as lobster, favourites such as shrimp linguine. Altogether there are five restaurants.

The spa has several Ayurbevic treatments with massages, wraps and chakra balancing using ESPA products.

While you are waiting for your treatment you can lounge on the daybed on the private balcony looking out to sea and listening to the sound of birdsong.

Activities outside the hotel include scuba diving and golf.
